Donald Lee Rousey, 84, of Heyworth, passed away at 5:15 p.m. April 20, 2016, at his home.

Cremation has been accorded. His inurnment will be at a later date in Funks Grove Cemetery, Funks Grove. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born June 23, 1931, in Bloomington, a son of Vernon G. and Elizabeth Phoman Rousey. He married Nelva L. Anderson on Oct. 24, 1964, in Wapella. She preceded him in death in 2015.

Surviving are a son, Joey Rousey; stepson, Tom Anderson; six grandchildren, Michelle Doage, Veronica Smiley, Leisa Anderson, Greg Anderson, Emily Rousey and Linda Rousey; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myra Linden, Bessie Swearingen and Carol Sue Spring; and two brothers, Paul and David Rousey.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Lola Smiley; two brothers, Steven and Raymond; and a sister, Audrey Mae.

Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a private first class. He retired in 1989 after working several years as a union carpenter.

Linda J. Bell, 69, of Atlanta, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 6:20 p.m., surrounded by her loved ones, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the funeral home.  Pastor Clarence Mankin will officiate.

Cremation Rites will be accorded.  Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery at a later date.

Linda Jean Bell was born September 16, 1946, in Lincoln, the daughter of Russell F. and Edna E. Winkel Noble.  She married Gideon Patrick Bell on October 29, 1983.  He survives.

Linda is survived by her husband, Pat; children: Cindy (Mark) Leesman of Atlanta, Chris Jackson of Atlanta, and Christine (Joe) Delahunt of Atlanta; one brother: Ernie Brown of Lincoln; and five grandchildren: Jessica Bihl, Dustin Leesman, and Tyler, Riley, and Payton Delahunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister: Dianne Provance.

Linda had worked in the ASCS government offices in Lincoln and Bloomington.  Following her retirement, Linda volunteered at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lincoln and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Along with being an avid Maroa-Forsyth Trojans fan, Wanda loved reading and especially loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Robert was born September 21, 1926 in Mackinaw, IL the son of Claude Leo and Lillian Marie (Maps) Meade. He married Ruth A. Ballenger November 15, 1947 in Clinton, IL. She passed away July 10, 2011.

Charles W. Cutright, 77, of Kenney, passed away 12:41 a.m. Tuesday (April 19, 2016) at his home surrounded by family.

Charles was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Latham, the son of Orville and Hazel Pauline Centers Cutright. On Aug. 13, 1966, Charles married Darla Mae Havelka. They remained husband and wife for nearly 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Darla Cutright, Kenney; children, Amy (Steve) Law, Heyworth; Angela (Brad) Ellison, Monticello; Brent (Heather) Cutright, Glenmoore, Pa.; and Bradley (Elizabeth) Cutright, Downers Grove; seven grandchildren, Madisen Law, Colby Law, Jackson Law, Andrew Ellison, Aliyah Ellison, Katelyn Cutright and Edward Cutright; siblings, Lois Summers, Clinton; Mary Rohrscheib, Kenney; Barbara (Dick) Johnson, Sharon Greenslate, Roberta Jaspers, Paula (Randy) Kelly and Orville H. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Cutright.

Charles was a member of the Kenney Christian Church. He graduated from Illinois State University, Normal. He was a teacher and administrator at Sparland High School for 11 years. In 1973, he moved his family to Kenney and started working at Revere Copper and Brass Inc., Clinton, retiring after 27 years of service. Charles enjoyed woodworking, fishing and bird watching.

Rita Mickey, 78, of Rantoul, mother of a Clinton woman, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday (April 14, 2016) at Heartland Health Care Center, Paxton.

She was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Rawlins, Wyo., a daughter of William and Julia Flynn Waldron. She married Tom Mickey on Feb. 27, 1954, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2010.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Carter, Rantoul; Terri Mickey, Rantoul; and Patty (Jeff) Welch, Clinton; a brother, Bob Waldron, Lancaster, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Mike (Ericka) Carter, Shannon Carter, Kari (Darren) Pratt, Jimmy (Louie Barrios) Youngblood, Cory Hinners, Cody Hinners, Kyle Welch and Ryne Welch; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie, and a granddaughter, Kristy Carter.

Rita worked in civil service, retiring from Chanute Air Force Base in 1993. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church and was a Dominican associate. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over 50 years. She played bunco and bridge and was an avid bowler.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Rantoul. Father Joseph Donton will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rantoul.

Rhonda attended the Wapella Christian Church.  She worked for the Clinton School District as a crossing guard and in the cafeteria.  Rhonda enjoyed cooking, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of ADK and the Junior Women’s Club. She enjoyed volunteering for the kindergarten class at the Lincoln Elementary School. She loved the outdoors and camping with family.

Leonard F. Priest, 82, of Farmer City, passed away at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday (April 6, 2016) at his home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. April 16 at Bellflower Christian Church. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., also at the church. Inurnment will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery. Leonard was born Dec. 21, 1933, to Owen and Edith Smith Priest. He married Janice Golden on July 20, 1958, in Bellflower. She survives.

Surviving are three sons, Kevin Priest, Farmer City; Kenneth (Joni) Priest, Missouri; and Brian (Christopher) Priest, Chicago; two daughters, Jana Priest, Fisher, and Heather Priest, Champaign; granddaughter, Serena (Andrew) Erickson; great-grandchildren, Laura and Jennifer Erickson; and one sister, Ruby Keller, Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Owen Priest; and one sister, Genevieve Marlatt.

Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for 33 years at Firestone in Bloomington. He was a member of the Bellflower Christian Church, Senior Citizen Club of Bellflower and the Local 787 United Rubber Workers.

Leonard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and devoted friend who will be deeply missed. The family would like to express a special thank-you to Carle Hospice workers for all their care and devotion to Leonard.

Barbara was born August 15, 1945 in Clinton, IL the daughter of David and Caroline (Grauer) Rees. She married Loren W. Cunningham June 8, 1963 in Clinton, IL.

Quentin A. Stevens 39 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 2:20 AM March 20, 2016 at his family residence, Clinton, Il.

Quentin was born December 27, 1976 in Springfield, IL the son of Herman Robert “Bob” and Emily Jean (Fletcher) Stevens. He married Andrea N. Vinson October 18, 1996 in Clinton, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Stevens, Clinton, IL; son, Trevor C. Stevens, Clinton, IL; daughter, Brooke L. Stevens, Clinton, IL; brother, Jeff Stevens, Walnut Hill, IL; sister, Mary Stevens, Lincoln, IL; 1 niece and 1 nephew.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Andrea K. Stevens.

Quentin enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, football, listening to music and drinking beer.  He especially loved his children.

H. Winston Zastrow, 88, of Elmhurst, formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday (March 31, 2016) in Elmhurst.

He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Bernice Amen Zastrow; loving father of Craig (Catherine) Zastrow, Teresa (Jim) Rich, Brent (Kathie) Zastrow and Todd (Lynn) Zastrow; devoted grandfather of Michelle (Scott) Fulk, Eric Zastrow, Joshua (Kelly) Rich, Amanda (Justin) Morgan, Sita (Emmett) Gleason, Gene (Tonia) Talley, Brad (Stacie) Talley, Todd-Robert (Kyla) Zastrow, Ted-Winston Zastrow, and Grant, Benjamin and Hope Zastrow; great-grandfather of 16; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin W. Zastrow.

He was a graduate of Minnesota Bible College; a pulpit minister for over 50 years, most recently the Christian churches in Clinton and Clarendon Hills, presiding at over 750 funerals and 1,000 weddings; and a lifelong supporter of global missions, including the founding of two Christian camps.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Christian Church of Clarendon Hills, 5750 Holmes Ave., Clarendon Hills. He will be lying in state 3 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Christian Church of Clarendon Hills. There will be a private interment. Loveta Ann Borton, 85, of DeLand, passed away 12:45 a.m. Thursday (March 31, 2016) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, with the Rev. John Tennyson officiating. Burial will follow at DeLand Cemetery, DeLand. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Loveta was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Independence, Mo., the daughter of Ralph and Martha Morris Jasper. She married Lorin Karl Borton Jr. on June 3, 1950, in Winchester.

Survivors include her husband, Karl Borton, DeLand; children, Karla (Greg Stoklos) LeVeque, Tucson, Ariz.; Shelly (Jack) Weakly, Bloomington; Robin (John) Borton-Scott, Champaign; and Thomas (Kelly) Borton, Gibson City; six grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel) Weakly, Champaign; Chelsea Weakly, Bloomington; Haylee Weakly, Bloomington; Ashley (Scott) Zachry, Naperville; Austin Borton, Milwaukee, Wis.; and Blythe Borton, Gibson City; and one great-granddaughter, Audrey Weakly, Champaign.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Jasper.

Loveta was a member of the Deland Christian Church. She enjoyed bridge club and riding horses, and had an extreme love of animals. Loveta participated in Meals on Wheels, as well as served on numerous boards in DeLand and Piatt County. She was the best cook and her family was most important to her. Loveta especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending holidays and birthdays with them.

Timothy L. Wright, 53, of Farmer City, passed away at 2:33 p.m. Monday (March 28, 2016) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

His memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, with the Rev. Bryan Phillips officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City. Memorials may be made to Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, 4401 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64111.

Timothy was born Aug. 26, 1962, in Bloomington, the son of Jerry and Betty Wilson Wright.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Betty Wright, Farmer City; daughter, Brittany (Javier) Sanchez, Kansas City, Mo.; son, Jeremiah Wright, LeRoy; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Sanchez and Roman Sanchez; two sisters, Terry Adamson, Bellflower, and Tena (Jeff) Jones, DeWitt; many nieces and nephews; significant other, Becky Messick, Farmer City; her son, Joshua Messick, Farmer City, and Joshua's son, Bryer Messick.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Timothy was a farmer.

Virginia M. Alsup, 92, of Warrensburg, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at Fair Havens Christian Home.

Visitation will be 4-6 P.M. Friday, April 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.

Memorials may be made to the Warrensburg United Methodist Church or the Warrensburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Virginia was born October 30, 1923, in Warrensburg, the daughter of Clarence C. and Norma B. (Marshall) Rau. She married Marion D. Alsup on March 2, 1944, in Texas. He preceded her in death. Virginia was very active in Home Extension, and was a past president. She was previously an active member of Harmony United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and the organ. She was more recently an active member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church.

Virginia is survived by her children: Carol A. Myers of Warrensburg and her daughter Brandee Jones of Latham; Harold E. Alsup and wife Patricia of Decatur and their daughter Jamie Dubson and husband Jeremy of Decatur; Allen R. Alsup and wife Pamela of Warrensburg and their children Amanda Phillips of Bloomington, Matthew Alsup of Bloomington, and Emily Bailey and husband Ryan of Nokomis; 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother William Rau.

Marilyn Irma Horn, 86, of Latham, IL passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in her residence.

Private family services will be held at Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut, IL. Dawson & Wikoff

Marilyn was born on March 11, 1930 in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of Arthur J. and Irma J. (Dittus) Lawrence. She graduated as the Salutatorian for Warrensburg High School in 1948. She married Donald W. Horn on January 31, 1954. Marilyn was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL. Family and farming was most precious in Marilyn’s life.

Marilyn is survived by her husband: Donald W. Horn of Latham, IL; children: George L. Horn of Latham, IL, David D. (Cheryl) Horn of Decatur, IL, Julia M. (Richard) Austin of Oreana, IL and Rodney J. Horn of Latham, IL; grandchildren: Amy Horn, Jennifer (Justin) Young, Bruce (Molly) Osborn, Craig Austin and Brad Austin; great grandchildren: Mason Young and Gracelynn Osborn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
