Donald L. Askins Sr. 80 of Litchfield IL (formally from Latham IL). Don was born May 10 1935. He passed peacefully at St Francis Hospital, Litchfield, Illinois - Saturday April 23, 2016 with his family surrounding him with love.

Donald was a proud Son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, U.S. Marine and long time over the road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his Father Nolen, Mother Gladys, Wife Imo and Brother Ben.

Don leaves behind brother Jim Askins Michigan, sister Clara Shivley Florida, daughters Karen (Garrett) Litchfield Il, Virginia (Estes) Litchfield IL, Vickie (Halfacre) Hillsboro IL, sons, Donald L Askins, Jr. of Decatur and Keith Askins of Decatur, IL - 8 Grand children, 12 Great Grand Children.
