Richard P. Applegate

Atlanta – Richard “Dick” P. Applegate, 98, of Atlanta, passed away at on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Timber Creek Village in Lincoln.

Services for Mr. Applegate will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Services officiated by Rev. Deborah J. Johnston.

Richard Paul Applegate was born July 5, 1924, in Atlanta, the son of Vern L. and Madeline Keiszling Applegate. He was united in marriage to Betty Brink on September 8, 1984. She survives.

Dick is survived by his wife; children: Joseph (Ligia) Applegate, Priscilla (Luke) Hughes, Clara Nancy Applegate, M.D., and Rick (Tina) Small; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Priscilla Archibald, and one brother, John Applegate.

He was preceded in death by one son, Paul Applegate; one brother, and two sisters.

Dick was retired from farming and raising angus cattle. He was a graduate of Atlanta High School and attended the University of Illinois. Dick served in the United States Navy in World War II. He was a member of the Atlanta United Methodist Church and the American Legion.

Fred R. Finchum

Atlanta – Fred R. Finchum passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:53 p.m. at his home.

Visitation for Mr. Finchum will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Atlanta.

Graveside funeral services led by Mr. Randy Brooks will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Cemetery. You may join his family for a celebration of life at the Union Hall, 114 SW Arch St, Atlanta, following the graveside service.

Fred R. Finchum was born October 11, 1946, in Quincy, the son of Fred O. and Ruth S. Rademaker Finchum. He was united in marriage to Susan N. Rohlfs on April 27, 1968. She survives.

Fred is survived by his wife, four children: Mark Finchum, Ron Finchum, Bryan (Amber) Finchum, and Michelle (Drew) Finchum-Olson; thirteen grandchildren: Brooke, Kate, and Shelby Finchum, Brayden (Mandi), Brodee, and Daulton Finchum, Alexis, Paige, and Kennadie Finchum, and Nic, Ty, Tessa, and Cal Olson; three step-grandchildren: Kylee, Jordon, and Marriah; one sister, Jayne (John) Cross; and one brother, James (Carol) Finchum.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Finchum, and one grandson, Grant Finchum.

Fred was a 1964 graduate of Hartsburg-Emden High School, and then a 1966 graduate of Lincoln College. He retired from Country Companies after 34 years as a manager of credit billing services. Fred was civically minded and gave of his time to the Olympia School Board (12 years), Atlanta City Council (12 years), and as Mayor of Atlanta (14 years). His passion was watching his grandkids play sports. And his love of softball and baseball led Fred to manage the Atlanta Little League and Sports Complex fields for 40 years.

Steven Lee Tuttle

Steven Lee Tuttle, 65, of Clinton, IL, died at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Steve was born on August 15, 1957, in California, to parents Donald Edward and Marlene Louise (Burnett) Tuttle.

He married the love of his life, Tina (Fenner) Tuttle, on March 27, 1993. He was a proud member of UA Local 137 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, a Mason, and an elder at his church, Victory Christian Center. Steve loved watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon, Snoopy, playing games, spending time with family, chasing squirrels out of his yard, and serving the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina; his siblings, Tomey (Barbara) Tuttle, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Penny (Danny) Cox of Farmer City; his three children, Christopher Tuttle, of Chicago, Samantha (Logan) Baier, of Chatham, and Sgt. Trevor Tuttle, currently of Seoul, South Korea; and his grandson, Lucas Baier.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marlene Tuttle.

Visitation will be held at Victory Christian Center in Farmer City on Monday, May 1, beginning at 12 pm, with funeral to follow at 2 pm. He will be accorded Masonic Rites. Graveside services will be at the Greenleaf Cemetery. Pastor Bryan Phillips, of Farmer City, will officiate.

Karen Sue Shinneman

Karen Sue Shinneman, 78 of Clinton, IL passed away at 10:31 AM, April 24, 2023 at Bloomington Rehabilitation & Health Center, Bloomington, IL.

 

Per Sue’s request no services are planned. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL arrangements.

 

Sue was born April 20, 1945 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Earl L. and Hazel L. (Bray) Polen.

 

Sue was the General Manager of The Clinton Daily Journal in Clinton, IL, then became the General Manager of The Mendota Reporter in Mendota, IL. She then relocated to Page, AZ to be the Publisher for The Lake Powell Chronicle until her retirement in 2015. Following her retirement, she returned to Clinton to be closer to her family. She enjoyed basket weaving, taking care of her flowers, and especially spending time with her family.

Philip D. Haltom

Philip D. Haltom 84 of Argenta, Illinois passed away 10:55 PM April 24, 2023 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

 

Graveside Services will be 12:30 PM, Friday, April 28, 2023 at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL with Pastor Bob Baker officiating. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL with arrangements.

Philip was born November 1, 1938 in Wellington, KS the son of E.S. “Bus” and Harriett L. “Hettsy” (Dockum) Haltom. He married Judith Ann “Judi” Conner January 28, 1961 in Decatur, IL. She passed away May 7, 2013.

 

Survivors include his son, Michael (Kristy) Haltom, Argenta, IL; two grandsons, Conner Haltom, Chatham, IL and Parker Haltom, Argenta, IL; sister, Susan Durbin, Decatur, IL; and goddaughter, Christina Higgins.

 

Philip was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Shirley Haltom; and one brother, Roger Haltom.

 

Philip was a brick mason for 53 years from 1956 before retiring in 2009.  He was 71 years old when he laid his last brick.  Philip enjoyed sailing and buck skinning.  He also built a few muzzle loading rifles.  Most of all, Philip loved spending time with his family and friends.

Barbara Lou Mehrkens 83 of Henry, IL passed away 12:45 A.M. April 23, 2023 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

Barbara was born September 7, 1939 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Evart and Elverta (Gerbracht) Taylor. She married Ronald Eugene Mehrkens May 21, 1960 in Chenoa, IL. He passed away September 19, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Tami (Bill) Dobbels, Kewanee, IL; Dawn (Gordy) Aldridge, Downs, IL; Todd (Becky) Mehrkens, Clinton, IL, daughter-in-law, Brenda Mehrkens, siblings, Connie (Gary) Leake, Lexington, IL; Darvin (Mary) Taylor, Hoopeston, IL, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Michael.

Barb was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lacon, IL. Barb loved to travel to Florida for the winter with her husband. She enjoyed working in her garden and taking care of her koi fish. Most of all Barb loved spending time with her family.

Jean Allena (Riddle) Reynolds, 79, of Clinton, IL passed away 4:10 P.M. April 21, 2023 at her family residence, Clinton, IL.

Jean was born August 18, 1943 in DeWitt County, IL the daughter of Lester and Evelyn (Meredith) Riddle. She married Donald L. Reynolds July 16, 1993 in Princeville, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Reynolds, Clinton, IL; children, Todd (Laura) McConkey, Elburn, IL and Pam (Lee) McConkey-Beasley, Normal, IL; three step-children; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren,

 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Carr, Clinton, IL.

 

Jean’s most recent employment before retiring was the Weldon State Bank, Weldon, IL.  She loved traveling and reading.  She was a loyal St. Louis Cardinal’s fan and loved going to games at Busch Stadium.  Most of all, Jean loved being with her family.

Shirley Jean Sampson

Waynesville -- Shirley Jean Sampson, 85, of Waynesville, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Services for Shirley will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Tami Werschey-Kessinger. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.

Shirley Jean Kaufman was born in Danvers, on July 25, 1937, the daughter of Clarence and Dora Rettke Kaufman. She was united in marriage to Charles “Bud” Sampson on January 26, 1962. He preceded Shirley in death on May 14, 2016.

Shirley is survived by two daughters: Shawn Bristow and Michelle (Roger) Rich, two grandsons: Trevor Bristow and Bryson (Mikayla McFeeters) Bristow; one great-granddaughter: Kirby Jean Bristow; two brothers: Donald (Connie) Kaufman and Richard (Susan) Kaufman; and two sisters: Dolores Giuffria and Myra Meredith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Shirley was a 1955 graduate of Danvers High School and then worked at General Electric, where she met her husband. After she raised her children, Shirley returned to working outside the home and then retired from IAA. She was an avid Cardinals fan, and she loved to be outside and tending to and mowing her lawn. She was famous for her deviled eggs and beautifully decorated sugar cookies. Shirley was proud of her grandsons, and especially her great-granddaughter Kirby Jean, who shares her middle name. She was a member of West Twin Grove Church of Danvers.

Frances I. Reeser

Frances I. Reeser, 72, of Clinton, IL passed away at 2:58 PM on April 19, 2023 in her residence, Clinton, IL.

Frances was born July 25, 1950 in Pontiac, IL the daughter of Darrell and Bertha (Alwood) Lane.

Richard K. Rudicil

Richard K. Rudicil, 88, of Urbana, IL passed away at 10:20 PM, April 18, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Services will be 11 AM Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Mahomet Christian Church, Mahomet, IL with Jeff Dyson officiating. Burial will follow at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, IL with military honors. Richard was born May 27, 1934 in Urbana, IL the son of Mark and Mary (Frazier) Rudicil.  He married Judy Phillips and later married Janet M. (Baker) Mitchell June 20, 1992 in Mahomet, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Janet M. Rudicil, Urbana, IL, his children, Roger (Patty) Rudicil, Urbana, IL; Paula Huls, Charleston, SC; Rick (Laura) Rudicil, Elkhart, IN, his bonus children, Angela Mitchell, Urbana, IL; Audra (Brian) Meis, Urbana, IL, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Lila Bohlen.

Richard was a member of the Local Plumbers & Pipefitters #149 for 65 years. He had been an Allstate Football player for Urbana High School and a longtime youth sports coach.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Dean Mandrell, Clinton, IL; children, Jody Anne (Stan) Covey, Clinton, IL; Terri Lee (Jerry) Bristow, Clinton, IL; four grandchildren:  Javan, Shelby (Barry), Paul, and Jaimie (Josh); four great-grandchildren:  Kharsen, Kharter, Kharlie, and Lexi; sister, Cecelia (Mark) Buckner, Rockford, IL; and nephews, Josh Buckner and Nick Buckner.

Hoke, Clinton, IL; daughter, Lori (Rodney) Harrier, Clinton, IL; four grandchildren:  Stephanie (Fred) Webber, Dayton, OH; Bri Harrier, Ankeny, IA; Nathan (Angela) Harrier, Taylor, MI; and Caleb Harrier, Petersburg, KY; four great-grandchildren:  Charlie, Ivy, Harmon, and Malachi; and four siblings:  Ed (Sonna) Hoke, Clinton, IL; Fred Hoke, Clinton, IL; Randy Hoke, Clinton, IL; and Karen (Jim) Powers, Wapella, IL.

Larry retired from Caterpillar Tractor in Decatur, IL after 30 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, but most of all, Larry loved being with his family and grandchildren.

Michael was born December 28, 1950 in Clinton, IL the son of Floyd Ruffner Pherigo and Wilma Charlene (Cox) Pherigo.

 

Survivors include his children, Jennifer (Brian) Moore, Wentzville, MO; and Tiffany (Andy) Dunham, Clinton, IL; grandchildren:  Mylee Pherigo-Mandrell, Mason and Max Moore, Kaitlin, Emma, Savannah, and Jordyn; and brother, Steve (Trish) Pherigo, Austin, TX.

 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Allen Pherigo; and granddaughter, Dakota.

 

Michael was a retired Union Electrical Worker.  He was Chairman of the Nazarene Church Food Bank.  Michael was a member of the Eagles Club and served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity.

Nancy L. Moore

Nancy L. Moore, 70, of Shiloh, IL, formerly of Argenta, IL passed away 5:43 PM April 11, 2023 at her home in Shiloh, IL.

Nancy was born October 4, 1952 in Santa Fe, NM the daughter of Harold D. and Norma Jean (Jones) Marlowe. She married Ronald D. Moore, April 25, 1971 in Decatur, IL. He passed away December 25, 2018.

 

Survivors include her parents Harold D. and Norma Jean Marlowe, Decatur, IL; children, Ronda Nicole (Mark) Aspengren, Big Lake, AK; Natalie (Shawn) Durbin, Belleville, IL; Orin (Angie) Moore, Pocahontas, IL; three granddaughters Zella, Bella, Kaylie; and three grandsons Olin, Brodey, and Nolan.

 

She was preceded in death by infant twin sons Adam and Andrew.

 

Nancy grew up on the edge of Decatur, IL. She attended Argenta/Oreana High School where she met and married Ronald. Her and Ron built a beautiful home outside of Argenta where they raised their three kids and many pets. Nancy was always active; she loved watching movies, reading books, cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events, gardening, sewing, quilting, and later making stained glass. She enjoyed her career in inside sales with Modern Electric in Champaign, IL, Englewood, and lastly with Kirby Risk Electrical Supply.

Lori L. Schaub

Hartsburg -- Lori L. Schaub, 63, of Hartsburg, passed away at the Springfield Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Funeral Services for Lori will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church. There will be Fire Department EMS walk thru at 6:00 p. m. at the church.

Lori Lee Baker was born on March 16, 1960, in Lincoln, the daughter of Donald Eugene and Margaret Tumilty Baker. She was united in marriage to William R. Schaub on May 15, 1998. He survives.

Also surviving are her three sons: Jeremiah (Amanda Giles) Charron, Nathan (Alyssa) Charron, and Morgan (Angela) Charron; eleven grandchildren; two sisters: Julie (Scott) McKinney and Pamela Baker; one brother: Steven Baker; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Lori graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 1978. She retired from Memorial Medical Center as a Unit Clerk.

She is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln. She has been a licensed Emergency Medical Technician for many years serving on the Hartsburg Fire Department for 23 years. Lori also served on the Logan County Sheriff's Mounted Horse Patrol Search and Rescue Team for many years. Her hobbies included working with her horses and scrapbooking.

Alice I. Morrow, 94, of Kenney, IL passed away 2:34 A.M. April 9, 2023 at Jenkins Living Center, Watertown, SD.

Alice was born September 10, 1928 in Kenney, IL the daughter of Edmund W. and Lora Fern (Hildreth) Clark. She married Walter “Walt” Morrow September 20, 1948 in Clinton, IL. He passed away January 30, 2008.

 

Survivors include her children, Linn (Vicki) Morrow, Kenney, IL and Dave (Melanie) Morrow, Watertown, SD; six grandchildren:  Adam Morrow, Clinton, IL; Michael Morrow, Kenney, IL; Josh Morrow, Clinton, IL; Samantha Morrow, Clinton, IL; Garrett Morrow, Watertown, S.D.; and Claren Morrow, Watertown, S.D.; and four great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Edmund L. Clark, James Clark, and Marilyn Rubenaker.

 

Alice and Walt worked side-by-side on the family farm their entire lives.  Most of all, Alice enjoyed spending time with her family.

Linda Jane Cutright

Linda Jane Cutright, 70 of Kenney, IL passed away 10:12 A.M. April 8, 2023 at her family residence, Kenney, IL.

 

Private graveside services will be Monday, April 17, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL with Josh Rohrscheib officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Kenney Heritage League.

 

Linda was born July 7, 1952 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Glenn and Joan (Sandy) Davis. She married Orville H. Cutright June 23, 1977 in Kenney, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Orville H. Cutright, Kenney, IL; children, Joni Cutright, Indianapolis, IN, Catherine (Aaron) Simmons, Decatur, IL, Leslie (Hernando Wilson) Cutright, Springfield, IL, Kenneth Johnston IV, Clinton, IL; four sisters, Sandy (Stephen) Moore, Houston, TX, Judy (William) Voelker, Kenney, IL, Mary Jo (Larry) Summers, Normal, IL, and Janice (Ronald) Sams, Kenney, Il.; along with 9 grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Roger Davis.

 

Linda was loved for her sense of humor and her positive outlook on life. She was a wonderful cook and welcomed family and friends to stay for dinner. She loved hosting holiday and birthday celebrations. Her hobbies included gardening, canning, swimming, sewing, visiting historical sites, picnics, enjoying sunny days, and dolls, especially Barbie and Raggedy Ann’s.

 

Linda enjoyed a 42-year nursing career. She earned her L.P.N. in 1970 at the age of 18, her R.N. in 1974, and her B.S.N. in 1995. During her career, she worked in burn units, ER, ICU, Med Surg, and Corrections. During the last 5 years of her career, Linda worked as an instructor of the L.P.N. program at Richland Community College in Decatur, IL. She was a proponent of advocating for her patients’ needs and she imparted that philosophy to her students.

 

Linda wants to thank her wonderful family and friends for their prayers, love, and support. She wants everyone to continue celebrating the good things in life and to continue to be “Happy No Matter What”.

Velma L. King, 89 of Weldon, IL passed away 5:06 PM April 6, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL.

Velma was born November 6, 1933 in DeWitt County, IL the daughter of Elray and Lena (Bebie) Danison. She married Rex King March 11, 1995. He passed away October 21, 2020.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Marla J. (Tom) Haycraft, Crawfordsville, IN; granddaughter, Ashley Brooke (Christopher) Hudson, Crawfordsville, IN; great-grandson, Lachlan Hudson, Crawfordsville, IN; and brother, Gary (Sue) Danison, Columbia, MO.

Carole J. (Conn) Abbinanti

Carole J. (Conn) Abbinanti, 61, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Clinton, IL, passed away at 6:20 PM, March 20, 2023 at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, Chicago, IL.

 

A Celebration of Carole’s Life will be 2 – 5 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Circle South Bar & Grill (fka Elks Club) Georgia Jill Room, 1520  E. South St., Clinton, IL.  A time for sharing memories will begin at 3 PM.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Carole was born February 2, 1962 in Clinton, IL the daughter of William D. and Mary Jane (Abbott) Conn, Jr.  She married Mark A. Abbinanti September 26, 1989 in Clinton, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Abbinanti, Chicago, IL; daughter, Jillian Rose (Mikel Galati) Abbinanti, and bonus grandson, Spencer Galati, Chicago, IL; mother, Mary Jane Conn, Clinton, IL; and siblings:  Billy Conn, Rifle, CO; Chris Conn, Clinton, IL; and Mitch (Jenny) Conn, Plainfield, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her father.

 

Carole was a Certified Dance Educator.  She taught dance, ballet/tap/jazz, and fitness for over 25 years.  Most recently, Carole was the Activities Coordinator at Greenview Place, Chicago, IL. 

 

Carole was a great wife, mom, sister, and daughter and loved spending time with her family.

Kenneth V. Hall, 80, of Clinton, IL passed away at 10:44 PM, on April 6, 2023 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Jonathan Roberson officiating. Visitation will be 1 – 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 1 PM Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Fairfield, IL.

Kenneth was born September 2, 1942 in Fairfield, IL the son of Virgil and Goldie F. (Hart) Hall. He married Kathryn J. McKibben, April 12, 1969.

William C. "Ben" Hale

William C. “Ben” Hale, 99, of Clinton Illinois, passed away April 2, 2023 at the Apostolic Christian Restmor Nursing Home in Morton, IL.

 

Ben was born April 18, 1923 in Clinton to Archie F. and Opal B. (McCannon) Hale. He married Mary Evelyn Murray, June 16, 1945 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington, IL.

 

Ben is survived by his wife—his “sweetheart”—Mary; son Stephen (Steve), Maroa, IL; daughter, Susan (Benito) Camacho, Morton, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie Hale, Clinton; Greg (Laura) Hale, Wapella; Benjamin (Angie) Camacho and Timothy Camacho, Morton; Becca Camacho (Nate Haines) and Katie (Kyle) Cannon of Minneapolis, MN.  Ben was SuperGrandpa to Mason and Morgan Mandrell, Stone Stith, Ian and Melissa Hale, Zachary and Alex Camacho, William “Billy” and Ryan Haines, and Paige Cannon.

 

Ben was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Hale; sisters, Rebecca, Wilma, and Darlene, and brother, James (Jimmy).

 

Ben graduated from Wapella High School class of 1941. Ben loved Mary, cherished his family and many friends, and was devoted to farming in the Wapella area. Ben and Mary retired from farming in 1988; then helped in spring and fall seasons at Thorp Seed Company for several years. Ben’s wit and enjoyment of his life’s riches served him well throughout his long life.

 

Public graveside services for Ben will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. The family requests memorials be made to: The Alex Program for CVI Easterseals Central Illinois and sent to Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton IL 61727.

Robert E. Defebaugh

Robert E. Defebaugh, 84 of Clinton, IL passed away 3:30 PM April 3, 2023 at his family home in Clinton, IL.

 

A gathering to celebrate Robert’s life will be 1-2 PM, Friday, April 7, 2023 at Robert’s home, 18 Holly Drive, Clinton, IL with Pastor Nick Blacklidge. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

 

Robert was born July 21, 1938 in Clinton, IL the son of Harold and Florence (Burdine) Defebaugh. He married Helen Joan Garren in 1959. She passed away December 28, 2019.

 

Survivors include his children, Lorinda Defebaugh, Clinton, IL; Curtis (Sonia) Defebaugh, Naples, FL; Martin (Phyllis) Defebaugh, Maroa, IL; Shireena Defebaugh, Chicago, IL; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; siblings, Jim (Betty) Defebaugh, Clinton, IL, and Leona (Harold) Jones, Clinton, IL  

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jerry (Rhonda) Defebaugh, Richard Defebaugh and Edith Hamilton.

 

Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran. He loved his cats and dogs, and enjoyed being a handyman around his home.
