Lorene L. (Scott) Bowman 85, of Mt. Zion, passed away at 11:38 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2012, in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.

A service to celebrate Lorene’s life will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion with Pastor Tracy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, Mt. Zion or the American Heart Association.
