Larry G. Hoke 78 of Clinton, IL passed away 11:34 PM April 16, 2023 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Don Estep officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Cemetery, Kenney, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.

Larry was born July 21, 1944 in Clinton, IL the son of Myron C. “Bud” and Margie Elizabeth (Johnson) Hoke. He married Jane A. Rasmussen December 15, 1963 in Clinton, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Jane A. Hoke, Clinton, IL; daughter, Lori (Rodney) Harrier, Clinton, IL; four grandchildren:  Stephanie (Fred) Webber, Dayton, OH; Bri Harrier, Ankeny, IA; Nathan (Angela) Harrier, Taylor, MI; and Caleb Harrier, Petersburg, KY; four great-grandchildren:  Charlie, Ivy, Harmon, and Malachi; and four siblings:  Ed (Sonna) Hoke, Clinton, IL; Fred Hoke, Clinton, IL; Randy Hoke, Clinton, IL; and Karen (Jim) Powers, Wapella, IL.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Wayne Hoke.

Larry retired from Caterpillar Tractor in Decatur, IL after 30 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, but most of all, Larry loved being with his family and grandchildren.
