Nancy L. Moore, 70, of Shiloh, IL, formerly of Argenta, IL passed away 5:43 PM April 11, 2023 at her home in Shiloh, IL.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL with Scott Marsh officiating.

Memorials may be directed to Southwestern Illinois (SWIC) Foundation in memory of Nancy to support the horticulture program.

Nancy was born October 4, 1952 in Santa Fe, NM the daughter of Harold D. and Norma Jean (Jones) Marlowe. She married Ronald D. Moore, April 25, 1971 in Decatur, IL. He passed away December 25, 2018.

Survivors include her parents Harold D. and Norma Jean Marlowe, Decatur, IL; children, Ronda Nicole (Mark) Aspengren, Big Lake, AK; Natalie (Shawn) Durbin, Belleville, IL; Orin (Angie) Moore, Pocahontas, IL; three granddaughters Zella, Bella, Kaylie; and three grandsons Olin, Brodey, and Nolan.

She was preceded in death by infant twin sons Adam and Andrew.

Nancy grew up on the edge of Decatur, IL. She attended Argenta/Oreana High School where she met and married Ronald. Her and Ron built a beautiful home outside of Argenta where they raised their three kids and many pets. Nancy was always active; she loved watching movies, reading books, cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events, gardening, sewing, quilting, and later making stained glass. She enjoyed her career in inside sales with Modern Electric in Champaign, IL, Englewood, and lastly with Kirby Risk Electrical Supply.
