Deloris Strohkirch, 90, of DeWitt, IL passed away 3:10 AM, August 15, 2026 at Haven of Farmer City, Farmer City, IL.

Services will be 2 PM, Friday, August 21, 2026 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Scott Marsh officiating.  Burial will follow at Heyworth Cemetery, Heyworth, IL.  Visitation will be 1-2 PM, Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Deloris Strohkirch Memorial Fund.

Deloris was born March 11, 1936 in North Platte, NE the daughter of Elmer and Florence (Hunter) Johnson.  She married Roy Strohkirch February 4, 1963 in Trenton, GA.  He passed away November 7, 2024.

Survivors include her son, Don Hulvey, Clinton, IL; daughter, Rose (Jeff) Overleese, Clinton, IL; daughter-in-law Debbie Strohkirch, Clinton, IL; four granddaughters, Lyn (Brett) Carter,  Normal, IL; Laura (Dave) Zarecki, Clinton, IL; Anna (Jason) Torrence, Nashville, TN; and Ashley (Jason) Hodges, Veedersburg, IN. She had two grandsons Austin Thacker and Derek Rogers, and 7 great grandchildren Tristan and Mia Rogers, Hoyt and Leo Carter, Colton and Brooke Zarecki and Helen Torrence.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, son, William Strohkirch, three brothers, and three sisters, and daughter-in-law, Susan Hulvey.

Deloris was a homemaker and member of the Dewitt County Farm Bureau.  She attended the Texas Christian Church.  Deloris farmed alongside her husband, Roy.
