Deborah E. “Debby” Kuntz, 72 of Clinton, Il. passed away 3:56 PM August 9, 2026 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Fr. Rogers Byambaasa officiating. Private Family Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Wapella, IL. Visitation will be 9 – 11 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.  The family requests casual attire.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Debby was born February 3, 1954 in Rantoul, IL the daughter of Thomas and Betty Jean (Freeland) Ipox, Jr. She married Robert “Bob” Kuntz April 3, 1973 in Farmer City, IL.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Kuntz, Clinton, IL; children:  Richard Kuntz, Clinton, Il and Jennifer (Thanh) Melick, Pawnee, IL; seven grandchildren:  Ryan (Halee) Kuntz, Clinton, IL; Kaitlyn (Jack) Shaw, Germany; Ella Melick, Pawnee, IL; Carson Kuntz, Clinton, IL; Brody Kuntz, Clinton, IL; Mallory Kuntz, Clinton, IL; and Jayce Kuntz, Clinton, IL; two great-grandchildren:  Hank Shaw, Germany and Hazel Kuntz, Clinton, IL with one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Ellen Griffith, Normal, IL; and brother, Ken Ipox, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Debby was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking.  She also enjoyed playing Euchre with her friends.  Most of all, Debby loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
