Bloomington, IL – Harry A. Olson, 81, of Bloomington, IL, died peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Luther Oaks.

His final resting place will be at Funks Grove Cemetery in rural McLean.

Harry Alan was born March 28, 1945, in Lincoln, IL, to Harry, Jr. and Betty Johnston Olson. He grew up in Funks Grove Township and graduated from Heyworth High School in 1963. He later earned a pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in 1967.

Harry married Marsha Nicastro on June 22, 1966, in Ada, Ohio, and was a devoted husband and caregiver. He worked as a pharmacist in Illinois and Florida and enjoyed a wide variety of activities, including music, fishing, and farming. He was a devout member of the Catholic Church in each place he lived.

Harry is survived by his son, Ben Olson, of Greendale, Wisconsin; granddaughter Morgynn (Isaac) Schweigert; grandsons Justyn and Dylan; three great-grandchildren: Carter, Raylynn, and Mila Schweigert; sister Susan (Steve) Kopetz; brother John (Linda) Olson; and sister-in-law Bonnie Olson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marsha, brother Mike, and daughter-in-law Beth.

Memorials may be made to Luther Oaks.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
