David William Becker, 75, of Farmer City, IL passed away 11:58 AM, April 2, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Services will be 11 AM Monday, April 13, 2026 at Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, IL with Pastor Jonathan Roberson officiating.  Burial will follow at DeLand Cemetery, DeLand, IL with Military Honors.  Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Monday at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be directed to the DeLand American Legion Post #102.

David was born December 16, 1950 in Monticello, IL the son of Lyle G. and Norma M. (Smith) Becker.  He married Valorie Dale Nettleton February 17, 1973 in DeLand, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Valorie Dale Becker, Farmer City, IL, children, Michele (Ryan) Hobbs, Bellflower, IL and Bradley Becker, Bellflower, IL, two grandchildren, brothers, Kenneth (Sharon) Becker, DeLand, IL and Joe (Debbie) Robbins, Stokesdale, NC. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tony Becker; and one sister, Kathy Becker.

David served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was truck driver. The biggest joy in his life was spending time with his family.
