Michelle was born April 3, 1964 in Champaign, IL the daughter of Flake and Bernadine (Lamar) Yates . She married Eldon Cusey January 13, 1990 in Heyworth, IL.

Survivors include her mother Bernadine Yates, Wapella, IL; husband, Eldon Cusey, Wapella, Il.; Son, Vincent (Leighann) Cusey, Wapella, IL; two granddaughters, Violet and Della Cusey, Wapella, IL; sisters, Connie Lyons, FL, Shelly Wilkerson, FL, Ann Connolly, Clinton, IL.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Flake Yates.

Michelle loved her family but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed her dogs and spending time reading.
