Donald W. West, Sr. 85 of Clinton, IL passed away 5:59 A.M. February 16, 2026 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL.

Graveside Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Josh Gorrie officiating. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Donald was born August 24, 1940 in Clinton, IL the son of William E. and Twila L. (Long) West.

Survivors include his children, Donald W. (Karissa) West, Jr., Clinton, IL and Gary E. West, Clinton, IL; four grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Rhodes, Clinton, IL, Lawrence West, Clinton, IL, William (Mary) West, Naperville, IL, Robert (Paula Maddox) West, Clinton, IL, Mildred “Micki” (Roger) Strubhar, Clinton, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Donald worked in the Laborers Local #362 for 55 years. He enjoyed tending to his garden.
