Barbara Hope Taylor, 77 formerly of Maroa, IL passed away 11:31 PM February 17, 2026 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur, IL. 

Graveside gathering will be 11 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL with cremation rites. 

Memorials in Barb’s name may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. 

Barbara was born May 26, 1948 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Alten “Bill” and Naomi (Cooper) Taylor. 

Survivors include her sisters, Tammy (Sam) Phipps, Maroa, IL, Kay (Robert) Pittenger, Forsyth, IL, and Jill (Ron) Clark, Forsyth, IL, nieces & nephews, Jennifer, Andy (Laura), Michelle, David (Amy), Juston, and along with many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barb was a member of the United Methodist Church.
