Robert Roy Twist 90 of Clinton, Illinois formerly of Weldon, Il. passed away 7:26 AM February 19, 2026 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL.

Graveside services will be 3 PM Friday February 27, 2026 at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, IL with Pastor Jonathan Roberson officiating. A Celebration of Rob Roy's Life will be at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church, Clinton, IL or the Weldon United Methodist Church.

Rob Roy was born July 22, 1935 in DeWitt, IL the son of Roy and Minnie (Marsh) Twist. He married Barbara Ellen Kallembach August 22, 1953 in DeLand, Il. She passed away January 5, 2026.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Barbara) Twist, Mesa, AZ; Roger (Tara) Twist, Farmer City, IL; Greg (Pam) Twist, Omaha, NE; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Rob Roy was preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Robert Steven Twist, 2 Brothers Otis Twist and Oliver Twist and 2 Sisters Leta King and Mary Kate Freese.

Rob Roy and Barbara previously owned and operated Twist Farms, Weldon, Il. He was a former member of the Weldon United Methodist Church Weldon, IL and was a current member of First Baptist Church, Clinton, Il.

He had a great love for basketball , gardening and making puzzles.
