Billie Arlene (Lauderback) Daniels, 99, of Normal, IL passed from this life on February 3, 2026.

Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Scott Marsh officiating. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Tuesday at Williamsfield Cemetery, Williamsfield, IL. 

Billie was born October 17, 1926, in a tent in the oil fields of Clarendon, TX. She was the daughter of Homer and Maude (Nutt) Lauderback. She attended a one room schoolhouse and went on to graduate from Williamsfield High School. Upon graduation, she lived at the YWCA Peoria while working at Caterpillar Tractor Company where she met her husband, Edward Daniels. She became a homemaker. She loved the outdoors and working in her gardens. Her quieter moments were spent reading Louis L’Amour westerns and drawing house plans. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, LaVerne Lauderback Kiley, Homer Lauderback, Harold Lauderback, and Joseph Lauderback. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lora Daniels Hooper & Dennis and their family, Jonathon & Elissa Hooper, Amelia and Gavin; Megan & Andy Traylor, Shellby, Hunter, and Gaige; Annalea Hooper, Layla, and Darrin; daughter, Danna Daniels Powers & Francis; son, Ryan Daniels & Barbara Hellstern and their family, Debra & Jason Smith, Everett, Lydia; Kristan Strong, Drayvin, Alexa, and Trinity; daughter, Kathilyn Daniels Builta & Kenneth and their family, Kara & Cole VanderLeest, Khloe, and Caden. 

Her family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Evergreen Place Assisted Living in Normal, IL for their kindness and care of her over the past nine years. Through them, she was able to maintain her independence and dignity. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
