Cody Daniel Warren, 33, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 9:05 A.M. Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Coles County, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Trinity Community Fellowship, 1300 West Clinton Avenue, Farmer City, Illinois. His memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Trinity Community Fellowship, Farmer City, Illinois, with Pastor Dave Jassman officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cody D. Warren Children’s Fund, in care of Heartland Bank and Trust Company, 333 South Main Street, Farmer City, Illinois 61842. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Farmer City, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Cody was born on April 29, 1992, in Urbana, Illinois, a son of Daniel J. and Tammy C. (O’Neal) Warren.
He is survived by his significant other, Layne Buzan and unborn daughter, Collie Warren; son, Caden Warren; father, Dan (Diane Bradford) Warren; sister, Cylie (Jake) Moody; nephew, Jameson Moody; paternal grandfather, Eddie Warren; and maternal grandparents, Gene and Mary Jo O’Neal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy C. Warren and paternal grandmother, Kay Warren.
Cody was a road technician for Altorfer Ag in Clinton, Illinois.
Cody will be remembered for his calm presence, humble heart, and the steady way he showed up for the people in his life. He was a loving and devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man who found joy in the simple things, farming, sports, quality time with friends and family, and quiet moments. Cody had a way of making the world feel safer and brighter simply by being in it. He leaves behind a legacy of loving deeply, being genuine, and a reminder to care for others in the small, consistent ways he did every day.
