Ruby Ranae Bradd, 9, of Clinton, IL passed away 1:01 AM, January 27, 2026 at HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Services will be 10 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at First Christian Church, Clinton, IL with Stephen Bradd officiating.  Private family burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026 at the church.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Ruby’s Garden c/o Stephen Bradd.

Ruby was born October 19, 2016 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Stephen and Ranae (Breeden) Bradd. 

Survivors include her parents, Stephen and Ranae Bradd, Clinton, IL; siblings:  Adin (Nina) Bradd, Imperial, MO; Abel (Mary) Bradd, Judsonia, AR; Abram Bradd, Amos Bradd, Asa Bradd, Rebekah Bradd, and Rose Bradd of Clinton, IL; nephew, River Bradd; niece, Aurora Bradd; maternal grandparents, Steve and Rhonda Breeden, Clinton, IL; maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Ruthie Ballard, East Peoria, IL; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Kathryn Bradd, Clinton, IL.

Ruby had a smile that was contagious and radiated joy wherever she went. Even when going through many difficult and painful circumstances, she would smile. Ruby enjoyed her Saturdays because she could "chill" (no school!), but she loved her Sundays because she could go to church, see her friends, and worship God. She was an adrenaline junkie (rollercoasters!), Daddy's little girl, and a friend to everyone. She loved spending time with family.

A Ruby is a precious treasure--indeed she was.
