Susan L. Allhands

Susan L. Allhands, 74 of Clinton, IL formerly of Watseka, IL passed away 10:41 AM January 27, 2026 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. 

Services will be 12 PM Monday, February 2, 2026 at Baier Funeral Home, Watseka, IL with Pastor Jeff Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Iroquois Memorial Park Cemetery, Watseka, IL. Visitation will be 11 AM – 12 PM Monday at Baier Funeral Home. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. 

Susan was born August 9, 1951 in Watseka, IL the daughter of Francis Kay and Irma Ruth (Buss) Elliott, Jr. She married her husband of 43 years, Jerry W. Allhands, December 22, 1972 in Watseka, IL. He passed away June 15, 2016.

Survivors include her sons, Neil Allhands, Fruitland, MO and David (Lyndsay) Allhands, Clinton, IL, granddaughters, Alexis Allhands and Whitney (Austin) Wilkinson, 3 great grandchildren, siblings, Debbie (John) Jones, Cape Girardo, MO; Steve (Collette) Elliott, Watseka, IL; Rick (Gretchen) Elliott, Watseka, IL, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue retired from Watseka Suzuki Honda after 25 years. She enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles, with Jerry. They had traveled on their motorcycle to all 48 continental states and some parts of Canada. Sue was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders for over 25 years working with the organization as a CPR/First Aid Instructor Trainer and a Rider Educator at the chapter, state and regional levels. She also participated at the national level sharing her knowledge from her years of experience. After the dissolution of Gold Wing Road Riders, Sue joined the Eagle Wings Motorcycle Association helping to create and develop the Rider Management Program.
