Joan Kay “Joni” Mollet, 79 of Weldon, IL, passed away 9:42 PM January 25, 2026 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 29, 2026  at Our Lady of The Prairie Parish, St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton IL with Fr. Thomas Szydlik Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the church. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Joan was born May 7, 1946 in Lincoln, Illinois the daughter of John and Rosa "Viadelle" (Seaman) Wise. She married Lloyd G. Mollet November 25, 1983. He passed away September 15, 2016.

Survivors include her son, Andrew (Danielle) Mollet, Argenta, IL; 5 grandchildren, Mason Mollet; Khloe Mollet; Wyatt Mollet, Emily Mollet and Sadie Mollet, 9 Step-Children; Several Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great-Grandchildren. Siblings, Scott (Tracy) Wise, Waynesville, Il.; Ellen Steffens, Waynesville, Il.; Janet (Mike) Cox, Lincoln, Il.; Kathy (Lee) Sheley, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Brother, Steve Wise.

Joan was a member of the Our Lady of The Prairie Parish, St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton, Il. She enjoyed Crocheting, watching game shows and playing Bingo.
