Sandra Barbara Searle-Mitchell, 81 of Clinton, IL passed away 5:00 AM January 6, 2026 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL.

Sandra was born August 27, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of Robert Leo Searle and Italia Cisco.

Survivors include her children, Italia A. Mullins, Vincennes, IN; Dwight W. (Maria) Burke, Eat Stroudsburg, PA; Melissa A. (Eddie) Burke-Bonilla, Clinton, IL; William D. Burke, Loveland, CO, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, siblings, Michael Searle, Peggy S. Freeman, Brenda Searle Hester, Annette Searle Katerberg, Steven Searle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 great grandchildren. 

Sandra was talented at painting and drawing. She enjoyed reading, poetry, and collecting frogs. Before moving to Clinton, Sandra took care of her mother for many years. After moving to the nursing home, she would look after the staff and residents giving out flower arrangements she made or small figurines she acquired.
