Barbara Ellen Twist 91 of Clinton, IL formerly of Weldon, IL passed away 7:50 AM January 5, 2026 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL. 

Graveside services will be 3 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, IL with Pastor Jonathan Roberson officiating. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be at a later date. 

Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church, Clinton, IL or the Weldon United Methodist Church. 

Barbara was born January 1, 1935 in DeLand, IL the daughter of Louis and Monzella (Hoover) Kallembach. She married Robert Roy Twist August 22, 1953 in DeLand, IL.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Roy Twist, Clinton, IL; children, Gary (Barbara) Twist, Mesa, AZ; Roger (Tara) Twist, Farmer City, IL; Greg (Pam) Twist, Omaha, NE; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert Steven Twist, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.

Barbara previously owned and operated Twist Farms, Weldon, IL alongside her husband. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clinton, IL as well as a past organist and member of the Weldon United Methodist Church. She loved playing the piano and Rook Cards.
