Mark L. Vinson, 64 of Clinton, IL, passed away 6:06 P.M. December 15, 2025 at his family residence.

Services will be 11 AM Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Adam Brucker officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Mark L. Vinson Memorial Fund c/o Roger Vinson. 

Mark was born March 16, 1961 in Clinton, IL the son of Walter “Pete” and Norma June (Leevey) Vinson.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer “Sweet Hart” Vinson, Moline, IL; Carlie (Steve) Batson, Fordland, MO; 5 grandchildren; jjbrothers, Brad Leevey, Clinton, IL; Roger (Kathy) Vinson, Clinton, IL; and Terry “Topper” Vinson, Clinton, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rodney Vinson, sister, Patricia Vinson, brother, Curtis C. Vinson

Mark enjoyed working as a roofer and loved spending time with his family.
