Loren W. “Pete” Cunningham, 85, of Clinton, IL passed away 3:51 PM, December 14, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Graveside Services will be 2:45 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Adam Brucker officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 PM, Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL.

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton High School Fishing Program.

Pete was born May 3, 1940 in Clinton, IL the son of Leo and Leona (Jamison) Cunningham.  He married Barbara J. Rees June 8, 1963 in Clinton, IL.  She passed away April 3, 2016.

Survivors include four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and one sister, Shirley Lobb, Maroa, IL

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; two sons:  Wayne Allen Cunningham and Robert L. Cunningham.

Pete retired from Bridgestone-Firestone Co. in Decatur, IL after 30 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, working on small motors, and gardening and was a “Jack-of-all-trades”.  Pete was a real people person who loved spending time with his family.
