Robert Keith Koons 76 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 8:13 A.M. November 9, 2025 at his family residence, Clinton, Il.

Graveside services will be 10 AM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL with Scott Marsh officiating and Full Military Honors. A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be 12 noon – 2 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Clinton Country Club.  The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements. 

Memorials may be directed to Texas Christian Church or Little Galilee Christian Camp.

Keith was born May 17, 1949 in Clinton, IL the son of Robert E. and Nellie M. (Crawford) Koons.

Survivors include his son, Zack (Samantha) Koons, Clinton, IL;  grandson, Carver Koons, Clinton, IL; siblings:  Karen Welch, Clinton, IL and Kenneth Koons, Clinton, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents.

Keith owned and operated Triple-K Konstruction along with his father and brother in Clinton from 1977 before retiring in 2021.  He was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton, IL and the Masonic Lodge # 84 AF & AM in Clinton.  Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1969-1971.
