James “Jim” W. Prawl 77 of Clinton, IL passed away 2:22 A.M. October 23, 2025 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL.

Military Honors will be 1 PM, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to The Wounded Warrior Project.

Jim was born March 29, 1948 in Granite City, IL the son of Harold and Maxine (Watson) Prawl. He married Connie R. Daniels May 25, 1985 in Maroa, IL. She passed away November 7, 2013.

Survivors include his children:  Eric Prawl, Waynesville, IL; Corey (Nekeisha) Prawl, Concord, NC; and Laura Blaum, Bloomington, IL; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way; and niece, Dru Duff, Clinton, IL.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Jim was a US Navy veteran.  After serving in the Navy, Jim worked at Lehn & Fink in Lincoln, IL.  Jim retired from Caterpillar Tractor after 32 years of service.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.  Jim was a member of the Clinton Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
