Mary E. Crang, 96 of Clinton, IL, passed away 5:29 A.M. October 24, 2025 at The Arc at Hickory Point, Forsyth, IL.

Graveside Services will be 11:30 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary was born August 30, 1929 in Hallsville, IL the daughter of Virgil and Lela (Kurtz) Barnett. She married Francis B. Crang August 5, 1950 at First Christian Church, Clinton, IL. He passed away April 20, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Nan) Crang, Clinton, IL; Nancy (Chris) Riddle, Clinton, IL; and Steven (Melissa) Crang, Webster Grove, Missouri; 10 grandchildren:  Travis Crang, Adam Crang, Kristin Riddle, Brian Riddle, Jennifer Smiddy, Jessica McCleary, Kyle Koons, Isabella Gardner, Julianna Kluge, and Luca Crang; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Julie A. Koons; and one son, Jeffrey Lee Crang.

She grew up on the family farm in Tabor, IL, graduated in the Class of 1947, and attended Bradley University for one year.  Mary worked at and retired from Wallace Business Forms in Clinton, IL after 35 years of service.  Mary was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton and also a member of the Clinton American Legion Auxiliary.
