Vanessa was born May 5, 1977 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Edward (Cece) Taylor and Mary K. Dulany. Surviving are her brothers, Alex (Aubrey) Taylor and Travis Dulany (Renee) Kallevig and sisters, Tori (Evan) Fay and Natalie (Scott) Manke, and her many treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by Carl Dulany and her grandparents whose endless love she cherished.
Vanessa grew up in Clinton, IL, spent her teen years in Naperville, and later found joy and comfort in the warm Florida sunshine she so dearly loved. She began her career as a medical consultant and recruiter specializing in placing physicians and skilled nurses. Later, following in the footsteps of her father, she became a student of the markets and financial world demonstrating sharp insight and dedication in a demanding field.
She was a dedicated child of God whose strong faith and grace guided her through life’s challenges and inspired those around her. She was a devoted and loving listener, always ready to offer her time, her prayers, and unconditional love. Her love for animals, especially her beloved adopted dogs Beau, Moxy, and Rudy, reflected the stewardship God calls us to live.
A fierce and loyal family member, Vanessa always had her family’s back, standing strong and protective with unwavering love. Like her grandmother Taylor, she loved to socialize, cook, and host gatherings. Vanessa found such joy in bringing people together to share love, laughter, cocktails, and meaningful connection. God blessed her with so many indescribably wonderful family members and friends in this life. She and her mother treasured their many times spent in Florida and truly cherished their special time together in the warm, sunny climate.
She treasured God and family above all and found peace in the simple sacred moments spent together.
Vanessa’s faith and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were part of her most gracious life.
