Irna F. Weinberg, 88, of Clinton, IL passed away 7:17 PM, December 25, 2011 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

Dr. Harold Weinberg, 99, of Land O’ Lakes, FL, formerly of Clinton, IL passed away 8:20 AM, February 28, 2021 at his home in Land O’ Lakes, FL.

Graveside services will be 1:15 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Rev. David Huff and Joris Heise officiating.  Visitation will be 12 noon - 1 PM, Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL.  The family requests casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the WHHS Foundation or the Vespasian Warner Library.

Irna was born June 30, 1923 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Edwin and Regina (Safdi) Frank.  Harold was born October 22, 1921 Chicago, IL the son of Abraham and Viola (Rosenstein) Weinberg.  Harold and Irna were married August 18, 1946 in Chicago, IL and moved to Clinton shortly thereafter.   They were preceded in death by their parents.

Survivors include their children, Sara (Morton) Stone, Ballwin, MO and David (Barbara) Weinberg, Corrales, NM; four grandchildren:  Aaron, Elissa, Antonia, and Samuel; and five great-grandchildren:  Brianna, Madelyn, Chase, Danielle, and Mia; and one great-great granddaughter, Trystin.

Irna was a member of the Clinton Welfare League and was an avid Bridge player.  She was a great cook and baker.

Dr. Harold was the 1969 Illinois Optometrist of the Year.  He was a pioneer in visual training. Harold was active in the local branch of the Central Illinois Optometric Society.  While in Clinton, he served on the Clinton School Boad of Education, the Dr. John Warner Hospital Board, and the Vespasian Warner Library Board.
