Paula Dawn Burger, 61 of Peoria, IL passed away 12:53 PM September 11, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

No services are planned at this time. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

Paula was born November 13, 1963 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Steven and Paulene (Lauterberg) Burger.

Survivors include her sons, Tim (Ashley) McDonald; David Gharrett; and Ricky Gharrett, grandchildren, Kiara Snow; Myla McDonald, David Gharrett, Jr.; and Dalyeh Gharrett, along with her brother, Charlie Burger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Rebecca Wilhem.

Paula was the rock of her family. Family was most important to her, especially her three boys. She loved cooking and celebrating the holidays as well as listening to music and having her nails done.
