Ronald J. Condie, 80 of Clinton, IL passed away 12:30 AM September 6, 2025 at Mt. Zion Health and Rehab Center, Mt. Zion, IL.

Services will be 1:30 Friday, September 12, 2025 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Adam Brucker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Wapella, IL. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2025 and 1-1:30 PM, Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Ronald J. Condie Memorial Fund.

Ronald was born November 24, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of William R. and Santina V. (Billante) Condie. He married Irma L. Burdelski June 12, 1965. She passed away January 5, 2006.

Survivors include his children, Valerie (Steve Harney) VonDrehle, Decatur, IL and Ronald W. Condie, Clinton, IL; five grandchildren, Brieanne, Regan, Revecca, Rylan, and Aiden; one great-grandchild, Raiden; and siblings, Sue Gregg, Pittsburgh, PA and David (Carole) Condie, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Condie and sister, Christine Stein.

Ronald was a draftsman for Baldwin Associates and was assigned the contract to build the Clinton Power Plant from 1973-1982.  He owned and operated William R. Condie and Sons in Clinton, IL.  Ronald enjoyed playing golf, pool, darts, and cards.
