Luan Spriggs, 95, of Forsyth, IL passed away 1:50 AM, September 1, 2025 at H & J Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Oreana Baptist Church, Oreana, IL with Pastor Keith Schmutzler officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, Wednesday at the church. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Oreana Baptist Church Renovation Fund.

Luan was born May 4, 1930 in Clinton, IL the daughter of James and Anna (Hays) Pulliam. She married Scott A. Spriggs April 28, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. He passed away May 27, 2018.

Survivors include her children, Susie Spriggs, Maroa, IL; Jim (Debi) Spriggs, Morganton, GA; Tom (Laura) Spriggs, Sugar Land, TX; Kevin (Trish Wild) Spriggs, Livingston, MT; Molly (John) Peterson, Brooklyn Center, MN; 8 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren; and her cat, Miss Muffin.

Luan was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judy Lawrence; and 5 brothers, Martin, Jack, Hugh, Raymond and Howard.

Luan was a member of the Oreana Baptist Church.  She enjoyed playing the piano, watching Jeopardy at 3:30, and cooking.  Most of all, Luan loved working jigsaw puzzles with her close friends and spending time with her family.
