Mary N. Linthicum, 94, of Clinton, IL passed away 12:00 AM, August 31, 2025 at Goldwater Care, Clinton, IL.

Services will be 11 AM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. David Dunlop officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL.  Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home

Mary was born January 19, 1931 in DeWitt County, IL the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Johnson) Menapace.  She married Clarence “Deb” Linthicum February 27, 1949 in Chestnut, IL.  He passed away April 21, 2008.

Survivors include her children, Marsha Lusk, Jacksonville, FL; Michele (Ray Zacholski) Freeman, The Villages, FL; and Melonie (Mike) Tilley, Clinton, IL, grandchildren, Jess Gash, Clinton, IL; Matthew Tilley, Clinton, IL; Mark (Katy) Tilley, Downs, IL; and Ryan (Miranda) Freeman, Clinton, IL, great-grandchildren, Cierra Mills, Tyler Mills, Sydnee Gash, Michael Tilley, Riley Freeman, Harry Tilley, Willow Freeman, Liam Gash, four great grandchildren, along with nieces, Emmy Daniels, Nancy Wene, nephew, Tom Wene and her fourth daughter, Susie Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Danielle Gash, sister, Doris Cundiff, and son-in-law, Frank Lusk.

Mary was the oldest member of Christ Lutheran Church. She retired in 1972 as bookkeeper in banking to become the bookkeeper for Linthicum Construction.  Mary loved to read, do puzzles but especially she loved spending time with her family.
