Rolland L. Malone, Jr. 92 of Decatur, IL passed away 9:15 PM August 8, 2025 at the Randall Residence, Decatur, IL.

Masonic services will be11 AM, Thursday, August 14, 2025at Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL followed by funeral services with Steve Ingram officiating. Burial will be at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Shriner’s Hospital for Children. 

Rolland was born July 16, 1933 in Decatur, IL the son of Rolland Leo and Mary Isabelle (Smart) Malone, Sr. He married Donna R. Zindar, May 31, 1951 in Decatur, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Donna R. Malone, Decatur, IL, children, Chris (Julie) Malone, Cerro Gordo, IL, and Candee Dukes, Decatur, IL, grandchildren, Damon (Christian) Dukes, Florida; Michelle (Carl) Wheeler, Decatur, IL; Bryan (Jennifer) Malone, Cerro Gordo, IL; Cory (Avery) Malone, Dandrige, TN, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Alyson (Bill) Buecler, Sleepy Hollow, IL, brother, Jon (Doris) Malone, Marion, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jeremy Malone; son-in-law, Ron Dukes; sister, Darlene Nordland.

Rolland was a farmer for 49 years and also worked for Caterpillar for 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Argenta Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Ansar Shrine, and Bloomington Consistory. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
