Marilyn L. Finger, 84, of Bloomington, IL formerly of Waynesville, IL passed away 11:20 P.M. July 30, 2025 at Goldwater Care, Bloomington, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Monday August 18, 2025 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Deepak Holkar officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Waynesville, IL.  Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Waynesville United Methodist Church.

Marilyn was born October 18, 1940 in Tunbridge Township, DeWitt County, IL the daughter of Elmer F. and Alma R. (Adams) Hieronymus.  She married Larry L. Finger June 5, 1960 in Waynesville, IL.

Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Finger, of Bloomington; children:  Denise M. (Timothy A.) Garlock, Springfield, IL and Dawn L. (Kelly L.) Stevens, Normal, IL; five grandchildren:  Ryne (Katie) Garlock, Land O’ Lakes, FL; Jaclyn (David) Allen, Riverton, IL; Kari (Gary) Hartley, Jacksonville, FL; Madison Stevens, U.S. Airforce; and Andrew (fiancée, Abbie Biggs) Stevens, Bloomington, IL; six great-grandchildren:  Kenzington, Ethan, and Micah Garlock, Jules Allen, and Landon and Melody Hartley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

Marilyn was a lifetime member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church.  She retired from State Farm Insurance.  Marilyn was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the Eastern Star.  She was a great quilter and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
