Anna “Faye” Nodine 85 of Clinton, IL passed away June 15, 2025.  She was born the daughter of Henry Landon and Bobbie Cleo (Jennings) Hurst in Washburn, TN.

She married Hubert “Hugh” Nodine in May of 1959 in East Tennessee.  He survives.  Other survivors include a son, Gary (Linda) Nodine of Lincoln, IL and a daughter, Monica (Mark) Zych of Clinton, IL.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is brother Roger Shannon Hurst of Washburn, TN, sisters-in-law, Doris (Jerry) Riggs of LaFollette, TN, Brenda Sartain of Morristown, TN, and Linda Nodine of Mt. Juliet, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Owen Hurst and Roland Hurst, and an infant son, Reginald Lee Nodine.

Faye was a dedicated Red Cross Volunteer assisting in Blood Drives in Clinton, IL for many years.  She enjoyed hemming quilts for the Methodist Church Prayers and Squares Ministry and helped with funeral dinners and Extended Table at the church.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  Some of the activities she cherished most were socializing with her Pinochle playing friends and tending to her flower garden.  Faye will be missed by ALL who knew and loved her.

Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2025 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Darrell Howard officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will immediately follow the services at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
