Janet M. Bush 83 of Champaign, IL formerly of DeLand, IL passed away 2:30 A.M. June 5, 2025 at her family residence, Champaign, IL.

Graveside services will be at a later date at DeLand Cemetery, DeLand, IL. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Janet was born September 11, 1941 in Champaign, IL the daughter of Roy M. and Grace (Lusk) Mullvain. She married James E. “Jim” Bush October 11, 1991 in Champaign, IL. He passed away August 26, 2024.

Survivors include her children, Patrick (Laura) Palmer, Delavan, WI; Douglas (Melody) Palmer, Nolensville, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan (Danielle) Palmer, Chicago, IL; Haley (Lydia Morrow) Palmer, St. Louis, MO; Allison Palmer, London, England; Evan Palmer, Nara, Japan; William Palmer, Chicago, IL; great-grandson, Julian Palmer, Chicago, IL; nephew, Dr. Jeffry Mullvain, San Diego, CA; nieces, JoEllen Skolek and Jennifer Kaufman both of El Paso, IL.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Philip R. Mullvain.

Janet retired from Ceres Management, DeLand, IL after 25 years of service.  She enjoyed antiques, music, playing the piano, and singing.  Most of all, Janet loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
