Edith C. Huffman, 94 of Clinton, IL, passed away 2:50 PM May 3, 2025 at her home in Clinton, IL.

Services will be 11AM, Monday, May 19, 2025 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at McClimans Cemetery, Hallsville, IL. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton Fire Department.

Edith was born June 28, 1930 in Waynesville, IL the daughter of Albert H. and Frances (Henry) Gandy.  She married Richard L. Huffman August 3, 1946 in Springfield, IL. He passed away September 12, 1993.

Survivors include her children, Linda C. (Butch) Monkman, Ellis Grove, IL; Beverly Rhodes, Clinton, IL; Marian (Doug) Brisard, Clinton, IL; James Huffman, Clinton, IL, 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David E. Huffman, brother, Albert J. Gandy, and son-in-law, Clinton G. Rhodes.

Edith enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics, watching John Wayne movies, and eating Mexican food at her favorite restaurant.  Most of all, Edith loved spending time with her family.
