Helen Jeannette Whitehead, 78, Rainbow City, Alabama, formerly of Clinton, IL passed away 11:15 PM, April 30, 2025 at her family residence.

 

Graveside Services will be 10 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the DeWitt Co. Animal Shelter.

 

Helen was born September 19, 1946 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Wallace E. and Caryl (Walters) Grimes.  

 

Survivors include her son, John (Jennifer) Clifton, Steele, AL; two grandchildren:  J. T. Clifton, South Carolina and Jade (Austin) Hale, Alabama; sister, Judy (Bill) Irvin, Kenney, IL; one cousin, Caryl Whiteman, Wisconsin; and one sister-in-law, Holly Grimes, Clinton, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald E. Grimes.
