Martha Ann Shifflet, 93, of Waynesville, IL passed away at 10:23 AM March 21, 2025 at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski, IL.

Martha was born March 3, 1932 in Duck Hill, MS the daughter of Hugh Clinton and Mary Lois (Wells) Tygrest. She married Harry H. Shifflet in June, 1950.  He passed away November 19, 2021.

Surviving relatives, son Eric Shifflet, youngest daughter Lee Ann (Shifflet) Stolarski. Four grand-children, 5 great- grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, her parents, and daughter, Leslie Glennie.

Martha Ann lived a very long life to the ripe old age of 93.  She was a well-liked patriarch in Waynesville and helped all with her many talents of sewing, quilting, painting, flower arrangements and pie baking. Her last four years were spent at Vonderlieth Living Center where she had many friends.  

Private burial at a later date.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites.
