Jill S. Kuykendall 68 of Maroa, IL passed away 1:48 P.M. March 18, 2025 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Maroa United Methodist Church, Maroa, IL with Rev. Mary Alice Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, Thursday at the church. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Maroa United Methodist Church.

Jill was born October 30, 1956 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Robert and Rosemary (Randall) Malone. She married Jerry Orval Kuykendall August 14, 1974 in Forsyth, IL. He passed away July 27, 2014.

Survivors include her mother, Rosemary Malone, Forsyth, IL; sisters:  Debby Beal, Decatur, IL; Robin Richey, Eureka, IL; and Joy (Rusty) Boostrom, Monmouth, IL; nieces and nephews:  Allison (Jason) Brutlag, Hudson, IL; and Scott Richey, Savoy, IL; great-nieces and great-nephews:  Ryan Brutlag; Natalie Brutlag; and Tyler Brutlag; and special aunt, Kathleen Hill, Maroa, IL; and special friends, Steve (Cheryl) Bingamon, Decatur, IL.

Jill was preceded in death by her father.

Jill was an office manager at the Maroa Elevator (Maroa Grain).  She enjoyed knitting and music, and she had participated in the St. Jude Children’s Research Bikeathon.    Jill was a member of the Maroa United Methodist Church.
