Shirley M. Humphreys, 89, of Decatur, IL passed away 4:25 PM, March 6, 2025 at Hilltop Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Charleston, IL.

Graveside services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, IL with Pastor Jeff Rawlings officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Macon Co. Humane Society.

Shirley was born August 24, 1935 in Weldon, IL the daughter of Harry and Gladys (Gibson) Wise. She married Robert G. “Bob” Humphreys May 2, 1953 in Kenney, IL. He passed away May 24, 2005.

Survivors include her daughter, Laurie Humphreys (Steve Hammond), Decatur, IL; three grandchildren:  Brooke Marler (Matthew), St. Mary’s, GA; Kellisa (Aaron) Fiala, St. Louis, MO; and Michael (Bianca) Humphreys, St. Louis, MO; great-grandchildren:   Dylan, Crystal, Ben, Rosalie, Norah, and Declan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, David Humphreys.

Shirley loved spending time with her family.
