Richard Stanley “Dick” Johnson, 89, of Kenney, IL passed away 12:45 PM, January 4, 2025, at his family residence, Kenney, IL.

Private graveside services at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL will be held at a later date.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born December 10, 1935 in Wapella, IL the son of Duane and Olive (Wilson) Johnson.  He married Barbara Cutright March 17, 1954 in Bloomington, IL.  She passed away September 15, 2024.

Survivors include his children:   David Johnson, Wiggins, MS; Alice McCutcheon, Decatur, IL; Janiece DuPree, DeWitt, IL; and Melissa (Jeff) Jackson, Decatur, IL; one grandson, Justin Volker, Clinton, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dick was a member of the Rt. 66 Association of Illinois, the Second Amendment Foundation, the Illinois Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, the National Rifle Association, Central Illinois Practical Shooters, the Law Enforcement Alliance of America, as well as the Harley Owners Group (HOG).
