Glen D. Ryerson, 70, of Assumption, IL passed away 6:05 PM, December 22, 2024 in Clinton, IL.

Private graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Glen was born November 5, 1954 in Pontiac, IL the son of Claire A. and Frances M. (Bradshaw) Ryerson.

Survivors include his seven siblings:  Lee, Graymont, IL; Mary (Larry) Mester, Bloomington, IL; Carl, Pontiac, IL; Jean (Rick) Hubbard, St. John, FL; Ray, Homer, IL; Amy, Normal, IL; and Sue (Mark) Sterr, Clinton, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Glen attended Graymont Grade School and graduated from Pontiac Township High School in 1972.  Glen served in the US Navy for 6 years and received the National Defense Service Medal.  After his service, he was an electrician and last resided in Assumption, IL.
