John “Jack” Wray DeClerk, 78, of Niantic, IL formerly of Maroa, IL passed away 7:24 PM, November 6, 2024 at Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana, IL.

No services are planned at this time. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

Jack was born November 14, 1945 in Chicago, IL the son of Raymi and Gladys (Flannegan) DeClerk.  He married Annette Mandrell May 12, 1977 in Maroa, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Annette DeClerk, Niantic, IL, along with many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Jack was a dedicated employee of 45 years with the Pipefitter Local #65. He attained the rank 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus and sang for 14 years as a bass with the men’s Decatur Chords. Jack was a big NASCAR fan. He and Annette traveled across the country to watch many races.
