Michael Ervin Honecker, 62 of Clinton, IL passed away 8:20 PM September 7, 2024 at his home in Clinton, IL.

 

Services will be at a later date at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to Autism Speaks or American Cancer Society.

 

Michael was born July 20, 1962 in Clinton, IL the son of Ervin Charles “Bud”, Jr. and Irene (Hardwick) Honecker.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Meracle Honecker, granddaughter, Violet, mother, Irene Lamb, sisters, Patsy Glenn, and Elaine (Jeff) Gibson, along with many nieces & nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Kenneth Raymond Honecker, Sr., and grandparents.

 

Michael worked for Hayward V Gates and Plastics in Champaign, IL for many years. He loved his faithful dog, Cali and his mom’s cooking. He enjoyed his time riding his Harley with his brother, Kenny but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
