Audrey Anna Sessions, 88 of Farmer City, IL, passed away 8:26 A.M. August 7, 2024 at her son, Roy’s home in rural Farmer City, IL.
Services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Adam Brucker officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.

Audrey was born January 29, 1936 in Rural DeWitt County, IL the daughter of Raymond and Lotus (Jiles) Boyd. She married Donald E. Sessions May 9, 1954 in Clinton, IL. To this union were born 5 sons, Charles, Leland, David, Roy and Ron. Donald passed away November 21, 1994.
Survivors include her children, Charles E. (Ann) Sessions, Norwalk, Iowa, Roy A. (Patti) Sessions, Farmer City, IL, Ron L. (Tari) Sessions, Clinton, IL; 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, Sisters-in-law, Jeannette Boyd, St. Louis, MO.; Ilene Peters, DeWitt, Il.; 13 Nieces and Nephews
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons, Leland and David; sister, Patricia Roth, brother, Leland Boyd, and 1 grandson, Johnathan Sessions; Brothers-in-law, Bob Sessions and Bill Peters; Sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sprague and Joan Sessions.
Audrey farmed beside her husband for many years and left the farm in 1994. She returned to the farm to live with her son, Roy in 2017. She had worked at Illinois Power, State Farm, IGA and many other local businesses. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton, Il. She had been involved with the PTA; Boy Scout Leader, Past-President Women’s Committee; Farm Bureau; Square Dance Clubs, Past President Country Cloggers. She was also a member of many other clubs, holding many different positions. She enjoyed camping, square dancing, volunteering, boating, playing games and making ceramics. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
