Brian D. Atkins 52 of Wapella, IL passed away 1:35 A.M. August 2, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

 

Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Crum Cemetery, Wapella, IL. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Brian Atkins Memorial Fund.

 

Brian was born November 23, 1971 in Normal, IL the son of David Lynn and Nancy Eileen (Twyford) Atkins.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Shyanne Atkins, Atlanta, IL, grandchildren, Kaiiden Birdsell, Talon Birdsell, and Graysin Birdsell; parents, David and Nancy Atkins, Wapella, IL; siblings, Robert Atkins, Clinton, IL, and Rebecca (Scott) Hay, Clinton, IL along with many nieces. 

 

Brian worked at Grain Flo in Heyworth for many years and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan.
