CARL  EDWARD  “ED”  BROWN
Carl Edward “Ed” Brown, 74 of Clinton, IL passed away 5:04 AM July 27, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Services will be 10 AM Friday, August 2, 2024 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. David Dunlop officiating. Burial will follow at McClimans Cemetery, Hallsville, IL with Military Honors. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be directed to Hooah Deer Hunt For Heroes.

Ed was born June 2, 1950 in Pittsfield, IL the son of Carl O. and Louise (Neff) Brown. He married Marylois Reid October 15, 1971 in Winchester, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Marylois Brown, Clinton, IL, children, Brent Brown, CO, Chris (David) Werry, Clinton, IL, Brad (Sarah) Brown, Kenney, IL, Brian (Letti Medina) Brown, Weldon, IL, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, siblings, Patty (Paul) Skipper, Chillicothe, MO, Vonnie Brown, Chillicothe, MO, Vickie (Bob) Walkington, Carrolton, IL, and Terry (Marta) Brown, Winchester, IL. 

He was preceded in death by parents. 

Carl served in the in the U.S. Airforce as C130 Mechanic in Guam during the Vietnam War. He worked for Harbrand Farms in Hallsville for over 20 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, cars, and cooking.
