Betty J. Ellis 93 of Clinton, IL passed away 7:45 A.M., July 25, 2024 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL.

No services are planned at this time. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

Betty was born January 29, 1931 in Wapella, IL the daughter of Paul and Martha (Collins) Holland. She married William I. “Bill” Ellis February 14, 1948. He passed away May 13, 2016.

Survivors include her children, John (Melanie) Ellis, Panama City Beach, FL, Bill (Janis) Ellis, Wapella, IL, and Martha (Ed) Wilcox, Kearney, NB; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Kathy (Vernon) Meadows, Wapella, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings:  William Holland, Ronald Holland, John Holland, Ralph Holland, and Beverly Holland Kraft; and granddaughter, Penny Harrold de Gonzalez.
