Norma Darlene Wade 87 of Clinton, IL passed joyfully into the arms of her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 12:20 A.M. July 9, 2024 Clinton, IL.
Graveside services will be 9 AM Monday, July 15, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church, Clinton, IL or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Norma was born September 2, 1936 in Cissna Park, IL the daughter of Louis H. and Edna (Hoppe) Schaumburg. She married the love of her life Jack Allen Wade February 9, 1957 in Schwer, IL. He passed away November 7, 1998
Survivors include her beloved children, Allen (Ellen) Wade, Punta Gorda FL, Paul (Laura) Wade, Clinton, IL, and her cherished grandchildren, Nathan Wade, Anna Wade, Luke Wade, Jake Wade, and Emily Wade.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Mary, Rodger, Dave and Stan
Norma was a proud graduate from the Julia F. Burnham School of Nursing, Champaign, IL. She fulfilled her Christ-given calling and devoted herself to a lifetime of love as a Registered Nurse for almost 40 years where she worked at the DeWitt – Piatt County Health Dept., Clinton, IL, along as working at John Warner Hospital, Clinton IL, Dr. Meltzers Office, and serving private duty.
Norma devoted her life to Christ and was a beacon for the light and love of Christ Jesus. She had the God-given gift of music and sang at countless funerals, weddings, baptisms, and Church Services, along with First Christian Church Choir. Normas life was one of love. Love for her God, her family, and her country. Norma now resides with her beloved Jack in their heavenly home.
